Wash Station
Rapid cleaning of syringe needle on the inside and the outside.
The Fast Wash is a wash station for the MultiPurposeSampler MPS. It enables the syringe needle to be cleaned on the inside and the outside. For cleaning, 2 different solvents can be used. These are disposed of separately once rinsing is complete. You can use the Fast Wash to perform rinsing steps in any injection method. Alternatively, the rinsing step using the Fast Wash can also be used as part of the automated sample preparation process. The system is controlled using the MAESTRO software. Within the software itself, all sample preparation steps can be prepped ahead to save time.
Functional principle of the Fast Wash wash station
The MPS moves the syringe to the wash station and inserts the needle into a solvent position. Solvent is pumped into the solvent position, cleaning the needle from the outside. The MPS also draws solvent into the syringe through the needle and then empties the syringe. This cleans the needle from the inside. Surplus solvent leaves the wash station through an outflow connection and is collected in a waste canister. If needed, the needle can be cleaned in the same way in the second solvent position.
Benefits
During the automated sample preparation process, needles can be cleaned on the inside and the outside. This is an effective way of avoiding contamination. Thanks to the MAESTRO software, controlling the system as a whole is simple and intuitive.
The High Flow Fast Wash is a wash station for the MultiPurposeSampler MPS. It enables the needles of large syringes to be cleaned rapidly on the inside and the outside. For cleaning, 2 different solvents can be used. These are disposed of separately once rinsing is complete. You can use the High Flow Fast Wash to perform rinsing steps in any injection method. Alternatively, the rinsing step using the High Flow Fast Wash can also be used as part of the automated sample preparation process. The system is controlled using the MAESTRO software. Benefits
During the automated sample preparation process, needles can be cleaned on the inside and the outside. This is an effective way of avoiding contamination. Due to its large, adjustable solvent flow, the High Flow Fast Wash is especially suitable for large syringes. Thanks to the MAESTRO software, controlling the system as a whole is simple and intuitive.
