The mVAP option allows up to 6 samples to be evaporated in parallel using the MultiPurposeSampler MPS. Evaporation is accelerated by lowering the pressure down to a vacuum and by heating and shaking the samples. These parameters can be adjusted in line with your analytical requirements. The system is controlled using the MAESTRO software. Within the software itself, all preparation steps can be prepped ahead to save time.

Functional principle of the mVAP option

The MPS transports the samples into the mVAP, where they will be evaporated in line with the principle of a rotary evaporator. Evaporation is supported by means of a vacuum. The pressure can be lowered down to a vacuum by means of 9 pressure ramps. If necessary, the samples can be heated and shaken during evaporation. The evaporation step can be incorporated at any point within the automatic sample preparation process using the MPS. The mVAP option can be used with 2-mL, 4-mL and 10-mL vials.

Benefits

During automatic sample preparation, samples can be evaporated rapidly and reproducibly. You can optimize the evaporation step by selecting an individual temperature and agitation speed and by lowering the pressure down to a vacuum in stages. Thanks to the MAESTRO software, controlling the system as a whole is simple and intuitive.

Variants

The mVAP option is available in 2 variants, either with a vacuum pump with emission cooler or with a vacuum pump without an emission cooler.
