ChroMOH Data Analysis
MOSH/MOAH Data Analysis is a powerful software package for the evaluation of chromatograms produced during MOSH/MOAH analytics.

ChroMOH is a powerful software designed for the evaluation of chromatograms derived from MOSH/MOAH analysis. The software utilizes a specialized evaluation algorithm to integrate the humps and provides quantitative results along with visually processed chromatograms. Saddle peaks are subtracted during integration, and the integration interval of interest can be modified manually at any time. The software processes data in batches to optimize efficiency and save time. Additionally, the software enables the export of reports in various common file formats, facilitating convenient subsequent processing.
Functionality of ChroMOH
The data derived from the MOSH/MOAH analysis is transferred to the ChroMOH software in batches, together with the required blank and standard measurements. ChroMOH can be used to analyze data from Agilent® Technologies as well as from other manufacturers. Instrument-specific "instrument profiles" are used to store this information, enabling the convenient evaluation of data from different instruments or methods. If these values change, updating them in the software is a simple process that can be completed with just a few mouse clicks.
The hump that is typically encountered in MOSH/MOAH analytics is integrated using special evaluation algorithms and quantified by means of an internal standard. Additionally, the software automatically removes saddle peaks on the humps that relate to the natural components of the sample. These components, such as naturally occurring alkanes and olefins, by definition, are not part of the hump area because they do not originate from mineral oil components. As a result, they must be subtracted. This process requires a high degree of expertise and a discerning "sense of proportion" in manual evaluation, ensuring that different users can readily interpret the data. A discrepancy in data evaluation can lead to significantly divergent results. Automated evaluation provides a solution to this challenge, ensuring reproducible results irrespective of the user.
The specialized blank correction uses the entire chromatogram of a blank measurement to ensure the accurate integration by taking into account the blank value for each individual integration range. If specific corrections are required, the integration of the hump and the internal standards can be adjusted manually at any time, either for individual areas or for the entire chromatogram.
The results for all integration ranges and the entire sample (C10 - C50) are calculated based on the integrated areas of the humps and the internal standards. The sample weight is used to automatically correct slight deviations, and the limit of quantification of the respective device can also be taken into account if desired. Finally, reports can be created in pdf, xls, or txt file formats. The PDF reports are available with or without embedded chromatograms and can be customized with your company logo. The XLS tables provide the option to review the formulas of all calculation steps, ensuring a high level of transparency and traceability. Furthermore, an export option for LIMS systems in various file formats is provided.
